Sealed World Beta 0.25.0


Beta 0.25.0 is released as of now and this one is a big one so buckle up!

Dual Classing

Every character in sealed world from this point onward can have a Subclass as well as their main class. You can use skills from your subclass normally, with the exception of skills tied to the unique stat of that class. You can freely change your subclass by talking to the skill trainer for whichever class you would like. This really opens up a lot of possibilities with builds so have fun, and let me know if anything is too broken!

New Skills

In 0.24.0, bard got four new skills to play with for a total of ten. In this build, every class now has ten skills to play with! Well, ranger only has nine right now, but the last skill is a big one and I want to take the time to do it right. These skills can all be purchased in any order, so experiment with them! There is now a total of 69 skills usable in game, whew!

Something stirs in the Jungle Cave

It's not in this build, but you'll notice some hints of what's coming. I'll give a big hint right here; it's a dungeon! That will be included in the next build. For now, the title screen has been updated to tease it.


And here are the rest of the notes.

  • Fixed a big exploit that allowed players to skip skill cooldowns.
  • Fixed certain animations from inverting the player's hands permanently, making them hold weapons awkwardly upside-down.
  • Lowered skill purchase costs across the board.
  • Increased skill point game to three every two levels.
  • Title screen can now sync with the time of day (but you won't notice it on the new screen).
